Access Codes for Memberships / Multi-Event Pass (Seated Events)

How to set up an Access Code
1. Before you start creating your access codes, ensure that you have the membership types that will be associated to that access codes ready to go.
In this example, the membership type is called "Adult - Premium Seats" as we would like to offer discounted seats to certain members or customers. This membership type will be hidden from the public and can only be visible with an access code.
2. Next, ensure that pricing has been set up against the membership types as well and the section/zone is active. Select Submit.
In this example, "Adult - Premium Seats" are set to $75 per seat in specific sections and/or zones at the venue.
3. Go to Access Codes tab > select Create code.
4. Create a name for your access code.
In this example, the access code will be called "vipaccess".
5. Set a limit if there is a limit of total number of hidden tickets that can be purchased using the a code by enabling the toggle.
In this example, the paid ticket quantity limit has been set to 5. This means the customer can purchase up to 5 tickets. The comp quantity limit has been set to 0 because we are not giving away complimentary tickets in this scenario.
6. Select which memberships attendees can access this code. You can choose to list public and/or hidden membership types that you had set up in the earlier steps 1 and 2.
7. Select Save.
8. If you wish to edit/disable/delete an access code, you can select the 3 dot menu.
7. If you are ready to share your access code to a selected audience, select copy link.
You can add this to a Broadcast email.
When the user clicks on the button in the email, they will be taken to the ticketing page to purchase the hidden ticket.
Or if the user lands on the event page, they can enter their access code in the 'Have an access code?' box.
How to set up a bulk Access Codes
1. Within your Access Codes set up, select the Bulk Upload tab.
2. Select Download example file to check how your codes in the file need to be formatted.
3. Replace the codes and limits to what you want it to be.
4. Save the file.
5. Go back to the access code screen and select Upload CSV file to upload the file.
6. The access codes from the file will be populated, select the membership type that these access codes will apply to.
7. Select Save.
8. The bulk list of access codes will be now ready for you to share with your audience.
