Afterpay Overview
Afterpay is offered through Stripe, so you must have a Stripe account to activate Afterpay.
Afterpay allows your customers to buy now and pay later in for installments over 6 weeks. No interest. No fees when paid on time. Afterpay settles the full amount up front.
Afterpay will be enabled whenever this stripe integration is used. So if you have multiple events using the same tripe account, but you do not wish for all of your events to have afterpay as an option, consider creating a seperate stripe account for your afterpay events.
Refunds are not available after 120 days based on afterpay T&Cs. Therefore any refunds that need to be processed 120 days after the customer purchased, you will need to process manually (B2B transfer).
How to setup afterpay as a payment option.
1. Login to your stripe account, search afterpay and turn this payment method on
2. In the Flicket dashboard, go to settings, integrations and edit your stripe payment method
3. Select Enable Afterpay and enter a transaction fee (the fee afterpay charges you is 6% per transaction so you can on-charge this to the customer)
