Custom system emails
Tailor the system emails from the Flicket platform to reflect your unique branding, voice, and messaging style.
Flicket sends many system emails from the platform ranging from order confirmations, abandoned carts, confirmations for receiving tickets and many others. You may want to change the messaging, links and call to actions for these emails depending on your different brands of events.
Event emails customizations
To customize system emails for events click into an event and click the emails tab. From here you can choose from a list of system emails to customize.
Events email customizations:
1. Abandoned cart
2. Order confirmation

Sending a test email
After you have customized your email, it's a best practice to send yourself a test email to see how it appears from the customer's viewpoint. Simply click the Send test button to receive a copy of your customized email. Be sure to review the test email on both desktop and mobile devices to ensure optimal formatting and readability.
Click the Send test button at the bottom of the email editor:
Enter an email address to send the test email to:
Keep in mind that the main purpose of the test email is to evaluate its visual presentation. While the email will display variable data, such as the customer's first name, order details, and items purchased, this information will be represented with placeholder data. Additionally, any links intended for accessing tickets will not be functional in the test email.
Email customization styling
You can customize the styling of your emails by utilizing the Styles button. This styling will be uniformly applied across ALL system emails related to an event or membership. For instance, the hyperlink colors in the abandoned cart email will match those in the order confirmation email for that same event or membership. This consistency ensures that your brand colors are maintained throughout all system emails, enhancing your brand's identity.
Membership email customizations
Similar to event email customizations, you can also personalize membership system emails. To do this, navigate to the desired membership and select the Emails tab. Here, you can choose the email template you wish to modify within the template editor.
Adding Shopify merchandise links
You can add links to products from your Shopify store to an email broadcast or any customizable system email. To add merch links first make sure the Shopify storefront integration has been added successfully.
Inserting merch links from an email
Once inside an email editor (Broadcast or custom system email), click Merchandise links from the insert menu:
This will open a modal which will allow you to select products to add from your Shopify store. Products can be added and deleted using the controls.
Note - If you have customized a product set at the event or membership level, this will pull through those products by default. You can still edit the set of products pulled through.
After clicking Insert, your products will be visible in the email editor. To edit the merch links simply hover over the block and click the edit icon on the left. To remove the merch block use the delete icon on the right.
Use the Send test button to send yourself a test to see what the email looks like. Note that the test email will use test data for order and ticket information.
