How to Create a Custom Email Domain

- Click ‘Add domain’ and enter the domain you want to use (e.g., yourdomain.com).
If you plan to send emails from a subdomain (e.g., mail.yourdomain.com), you must add and verify the subdomain separately. - Click ‘Save’ to generate the DNS records required for verification.
Update your DNS records
To verify your domain, you must update your DNS provider with the records provided in Flicket.
1. Go to your DNS provider’s control panel.
2. Locate the section for DNS settings or DNS management.
3. Add the following records exactly as provided in Flicket to helps protect your domain from email spoofing and phishing attempts.
DKIM (TXT Record): Ensures your emails are authenticated and not flagged as spam.
Return-Path (CNAME Record): Improves email deliverability and tracks bounces.
DMARC (TXT Record): Required if you don’t already have a DMARC policy in place.
4. Save your changes.
Wait for verification
Flicket will automatically check for the updated DNS records. Once added, refresh the page to check the verification status. Domain verification can take up to 24 hours. When verified, you’ll see a "Verified" status next to your domain in Flicket.
Troubleshooting: Domain not verified?
If your domain isn’t verified within 24 hours:
✔ Ensure the DKIM, Return-Path, and DMARC records are correctly added.
