New CRM Event Activity Filters & Segmentation

We’ve released a major upgrade to Flicket’s CRM filtering capabilities, giving promoters the ability to target campaigns with far greater precision.

With these new filters, you can now segment and message every ticket holder, attendee, pre-registered fan and those that have pre-authorized payment.

These filters are available for both Email and SMS campaigns.

Available Event Activity Filters

The following filters can now be used when building campaigns and segments.

Has Tickets To / Doesn't Have Tickets To

Targets named ticket holders associated with an event.

If a ticket includes a named attendee, communications will be sent directly to that person.

This allows promoters to communicate with everyone attending an event, not just the person who purchased the order.

Example use cases:

  • Send event updates directly to all attendees

  • Combine "Pre-Registered" but "Hasn't Purchased Tickets"

  • Promote merchandise or hospitality upgrades to ticket holders

  • Send reminders or event-day information

Attended

Targets individuals whose tickets were scanned at the event entrance.

This filter identifies people who were physically present at the event.

Example use cases:

  • Send post-event thank you messages

  • Promote upcoming events to verified attendees

  • Share highlight videos or surveys with attendees

  • Combine "Has Purchased Tickets" but "Did Not Attend".

Did Not Attend

Targets ticket holders whose tickets were not scanned at entry.

Example use cases:

  • Offer discounted tickets for the next event

  • Send a replay, highlights or digital content

  • Run “we missed you” campaigns to recover future attendance

Registered For

Targets people who have registered via a pre-sale or waitlist form.

These contacts may not yet have purchased tickets but have expressed interest in the event.

Example use cases:

  • Notify waitlist members when tickets go on sale

  • Send exclusive pre-sale access

  • Promote VIP upgrades or additional ticket releases

Pre-Authorized Tickets To

Targets customers who have pre-authorized payment through a pre-sale order.

This includes ongoing and completed pre-orders, but excludes cancelled pre-orders.

Example use cases:

  • Confirm upcoming ticket releases

  • Exclude from pre-sale marketing activities to protect budget

  • Start promoting add-ons such as parking, merchandise or hospitality

Combining Filters for Advanced Segmentation

Multiple filters can be combined to create more precise audiences.

This allows promoters to run targeted campaigns based on real event behaviour.

Examples include:

  • Registered for pre-sale, but didn't purchase tickets
  • Registered for pre-sale, but hasn't pre-authorized payment
  • Pre-authorized payment, but didn't purchase ticket
  • Purchased ticket, but didn't attend
