Automated sales report

The automated sales report enables promoters to automate scheduled updates on ticket sales and share them with key stakeholders who may not have direct access to the Flicket platform, ensuring that everyone involved stays informed on event progress.

1. Navigate to the reporting module, select an event or membership that you want to scheduled updates for and click the Sales section under Scheduled reporting. 
Note - You will need the new reporting module activated in order to use this feature. Contact your account manager if you reporting dashboard does not look like the screenshot below.

2. Click Create schedule to create a scheduled report.

 

 

3. Give your schedule a name, this is for internal reference only. 

4. Add email addresses to the recipient list. You can have 1 or more recipients and you can also delete recipients.

5. Set the schedule frequency. You can choose between daily, weekly or monthly and specify a day and time to send. 

6. Set the schedule start and end time. The schedule will run only if the current date is between the schedule start and end time.

 

 

The scheduled report reports on sales data from the previous period since the send time.

Example:

Current date is Wednesday 25th September 9am.

- If you scheduled a daily report for 9am, you will receive a report with data for sales between Tuesday 24th September 9am to Wednesday 25th September 9am. 

- If you scheduled a weekly report on Wednesday at 9am, you will receive a report with data for sales between Wednesday 18th September 9am to Wednesday 25th September 9am.

- If you schedule a monthly report on Wednesday 25th at 9am, you will receive a report with data for sales between Sunday 25th August 9am to Wednesday 25th September 9am.

 

Email report 

Once the schedule date and time has been reached, the recipients will receive an email in their inbox with an update on sales and csv report attached. The report will give an update on the sale period as well as an overall update on total sales for the entire on sale period.

Face value ticket revenue - Face value of admission tickets only

Tickets issued - Total of tickets sold plus complimentary tickets

Ticket sold - Number of admission tickets sold

Tickets part paid - Number of tickets that were sold from orders using payment plans

Complimentary tickets - Number of complimentary tickets issued

A csv export is attached to all scheduled reports. In this csv you'll be able to see an in depth breakdown on sales by zones, ticket types, price, discounts, booking fees and revenue.
