SMS broadcasts are behind a feature flag. Ask your account manager to turn on SMS broadcast for your organisation

Blank SMS
1. Add a message name - Give your SMS campaign a name. This is used for an internal reference.
2. Add some filters - Segment your audience using the broadcast filters similar to marketing broadcast filters. Your audience will only be part of the segment if they have opted in to SMS marketing.
3. Compose your body of your SMS campaign - Keep this short as you only have 137 characters for a single message. If you exceed this limit you will be charged for 2 messages per recipient.
4. Insert a link as a call to action. You can link directly to the ticketing page for your event/membership or add a custom link.
All links will be shortened using Flicket's url shortener to minimise the number of characters used so you can maximise your content. When linking to the ticketing page, the name of the event/membership will be displayed in the editor however it will be replaced with a short link when the SMS is sent.
Linking directly to a Flicket ticketing page will allow you to track clicks, conversion rate and revenue for your SMS campaign. Custom links to an external URL will not be able to report on these metrics.
Sending an SMS
You can send an SMS immediately or you can schedule an SMS to go out later.
Sending a test SMS
You can also send yourself a test SMS to check the contents of your SMS before it goes out. It is recommended to send a test to check that your links are working correctly. Standard rates apply for sending out a test message.
Note - The country code needs to be added in when entering the mobile number to send a test to
Schedule an SMS
To schedule an SMS to be sent at a later date, click the Schedule button and set the date and time for the SMS to go out. Note that the schedule time is set in the time zone of your organisation.
