Your Guide for a Successful Event ✨
We know how important it is to prepare for all eventualities on event day. Whether everything goes as planned or you encounter unexpected challenges, we’ve got you covered with the tools and resources you need.
Here's how we can help:
1. Ticketing Event Day Checklist
If you have Flicket staff coming to help with event day operations, your dedicated Client Success Manager will provide you with a detailed checklist a week before your event and daily reminders leading up to event day. This checklist covers everything from equipment setup to staff scheduling. View the Ticketing Event Plan Checklist.
2. Scanning How-To Guide
Ensure your entry process is seamless with our comprehensive guide to the Flicket Scanner App. It includes instructions on how to log in, use handheld scanners, and troubleshoot scanning issues. Read the Scanning How-To Guide.
3. Communicating with Ticket Holders
Make sure your attendees are ready by confirming they can access their tickets before the event. Use our broadcast email functionality to send reminders directly from the Flicket platform. Learn How to Send a Broadcast Email.
4. Checking Your Hardware and POS Setup
If you’re printing tickets or using a POS system, ensure your hardware is ready:
- POS Setup Guide: Follow the Steps.
- Printer Setup and Testing:
- If we’ve supplied a ticket printer, confirm it’s connected and active.
- Ensure sufficient ticket stock is available.
- Go to the Orders tab within an event, open a transaction, and print a single ticket to test.
- Confirm tickets are printing clearly with aligned QR codes.
- Destroy test tickets once completed.
5. Other Online How-To Guides
For more support, browse our library of resources for guidance on all Flicket features. Explore Online Guides.
6. QR Code for Easy App Access
We’ll send a QR code one week before your event. Print or scan it for direct access to the Flicket Scanner App. Alternatively, use your admin login credentials (though we recommend keeping these private). Instructions for saving the app to your home screen will be included in the email.
7. Internet and Offline Scanning
- You’ll need internet access to log into the scanner app and load events.
- If keeping ticket sales online during the event, ensure a WiFi connection to sync new ticket sales.
- The scanner works offline but must connect to the internet for login or event loading.
8. Flicket System Check
Perform a final system check in the Flicket admin portal:
- Log in and confirm you can view your upcoming event, sessions, and ticket types.
- Check if POS functionality is accessible in the portal.
- Review any specific promoter holds — release these back to sale if needed.
- Verify session capacity — sold-out sessions will prevent additional ticket sales.
- Confirm off-sale times for sessions and ticket types — ensure items are still on sale as needed.
