Tracking Codes
What are tracking codes useful for and how to use them.
You can create unique links within the platform to help track where your traffic and sales are coming from. Use this data to help inform future budgets and marketing strategies.
To create a tracking link simply head to the 'Tracking' tab within your event and select 'Create tracking code'
You can track how many people have viewed your event, how many tickets were sold and how much revenue you have generated through each individual link.
Click on the 'copy link' button to save your tracking link to your clipboard. You can then use this link in your marketing campaigns, on your website, or share it with promoters to track your traffic and sales effectively.
Examples of where tracking links could be used:
- Your website
- Text campaigns
- Marketing emails
- Social media (facebook, instagram, tiktok..)
- Promoters - consider a rebate or prize for most sales
- Other organisation's websites
If you are doing multiple social media posts, or multiple sms campaigns or edms, consider creating a separate tracking link for each. This way you can compare stats, particularly if you have campaigns across different days of the week or times of day, to see what drives the most traffic and sales.
**Note: You cannot see who has purchased through a tracking link, just how many people have purchased through that link.
**Note: Tracking links will take customers to the event information page
