In order to sell tickets to an event, the event will need to be published. When an event is published it will appear in the list of events on the homepage of your customer portal like so:
If you do not want your event to publicly visible on the homepage, you can hide it from the home page by going to the events tab in the admin panel, selecting the three dots beside your event, then selecting hide from homepage.
